ABOUT ME

Courtney is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Journalism at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and he also works full-time at the University’s School of Social Work as an Admissions Coordinator. In addition to his work and education commitments, he currently volunteers at both the WORT 89.9FM community radio station and WSUM 91.7FM college radio stations. Courtney is volunteering as a reporter for the WORT news team, and he is volunteering as an on-air host and sports anchor for WSUM. While obtaining his Bachelor of Arts at Beloit College, Courtney majored in Critical Identity Studies and minored in Journalism. He was also a member of the varsity track and field team, and held various leadership positions - most notably, president - in my Greek organization — Tau Kappa Epsilon. He worked in the college’s admissions department as a Tour Guide Coordinator, Social Media Manager, and Snapchat Director.
